Josh Daugherty was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, and moved to Los Angeles in 1998 to pursue his love of acting. Not long after arriving, he joined a cattle call audition for a national tour of RENT and was offered the roles of Mark or Roger. But the big screen called, and so he turned the offer down. After only a couple years he began booking guest stars, recurring roles, and lots of commercials. It was commercials that taught him so much about the freedom of acting, and about having fun on the day. By the end of his foray in Los Angeles Josh counted somewhere around 70 national network ads for companies like Taco Bell, Miller Lite, Bud Light, Budweiser, Honda, Nissan, Bounty Paper Towels, Motorola, Cheez-Its, and many, many more. Soon voice over became another focus for his work, and in no time he was one of the voices for Honda. After 20 years in LA Josh amassed an impressive resume, with over 60 guest stars and numerous films, in addition to his commercial and voice over work.
Josh prefers to spend his time outdoors, enjoying surfing, rock climbing, skiing and snowboarding, hunting, fly fishing, hiking and backpacking. When he's not adventuring he loves to cook, play music and sing with friends, and build beautiful gardens. In 2019 he finally settled down with his wonderful wife, Ashley. They have 9 chickens and are learning to homestead.
