Our Commitment to Actors:
A “Pay-to-Play” Statement
Since 2015, TWAG: The Working Actor Group has been a resource for working actors in Atlanta…a place to sharpen your craft, build community, and forge real relationships with the industry.
We are not a "pay-to-play" operation, and we don't endorse pay-to-play schemes. Here's what that means and how we operate:
Our workshops are educational. Every casting director workshop, agent panel, and industry intensive we offer is intentionally designed for education, to help you grow as an actor, understand how the industry works, and practice your craft in front of the professionals shaping it. Attending a TWAG workshop is never a guarantee of an audition, callback, booking, or representation, and we will never present it as one.
We're transparent about who you're learning from. We tell you exactly who is teaching, what they're currently working on, and what their professional experience is, so you can make informed decisions about where to invest your time and money. Our coaches and guests are professionals actively working in the film industry right now and offer a wealth of experience and perspective.
We serve as a third party. We believe actors and industry professionals both deserve the protection of an independent studio that ensures everyone is treated with respect and professionalism, and that all workshops abide by Casting Society (CSA) guidelines.
We're open to actors at every stage. We don't gatekeep. Whether you're building your foundation or already booking, we'll help you find the right class, workshop, or service for where you are, and we'll always be honest about what that is.
We stand behind the experience we promise. From our coaches to our guest instructors, we hold everyone at TWAG to the same standard: show up prepared, deliver what the class page promises, and treat every actor with care.
For over a decade, our mission has been simple: Empower actors to take control of their own careers. Education, preparation, and community are how careers get built…and that's what we're here for.
